Our mission statement says it all:

PROMOTE THE DIVERSITY AND APPRECIATION
OF THE VISUAL ARTS IN THE COMMUNITY

We meet most months at the Rowlett Community Centre, 5300 Main, Rowlett, Texas 75088

Since our inception as an organization in February of 2002, our club has hosted many varied programs for our members and the public. Whether you're a person who loves art, and being around creative people, or you would like to get creative yourself, then joining Artists 'Round Texas can give you many benefits and choices;

1) Interact, make new friends, and meet other creative people on a continuing basis.

2) Learn new ways to create art, or if just a first time dabbler, gain confidence in pursuing your creative side.

3) Show and sell your art at the many different art venues arranged by A.R.T. --PUBLIC ART; companies and public city venues that allow artists to show at their place of business; ART SHOWS; we have as many as three shows a year! Many do not require an entry fee, but only require artists to set up their art.

4) Participate in community events with ART, and be able to show and sell your art.

5) Join other members in art field trips, tours, or in viewing museum exhibits.

6) Get informed about new creative products.

7) Enjoy attending varied art demonstrations during the year.
